“ Balochi wedding”

   It goes without saying that every nation has got their own ways of performing marriage.

                                Wedding is the part of joys in one’s life in the same way when it came to Balochi wedding then it is different form rest of the other culture. Balochi wedding and its parts are so interesting which is symbol of Balochi culture.

And one of such an attractive and interesting days of marriage are named” Julldandi” “Dozzki” “Henni Band” “Nikha” and “Mobaraki”.

 Jullbandi:

                 First day, when family members of groom take clothes and jewelers to bride house and the invited women gather there and among them, one show the things to women which was given by groom family to bride. The day is call Jullbandi.

Dozzoki:

               At the night of marriage when (Sargwap) hennas the hand of the couple. Separately with praising both the bride and the groom by singing tradition song is call Dozzaki.

                                                         Dozzoki is one of the great part of Balochi wedding. And also it is first interesting and enjoyable night of Balochi wedding. Dozzoki is the staring night of happiness of marriage.

Henni Band:

                   After dozzoki it comes henni band when all invited women make sure their presence in the house of bride, similarly, the night every Member of brides family dance and (Sargwap) once again keeps henns on the hand and feet of bride and groom. But now mostly groom keeps henni on his foot in separate place with his friends.

                                                                              And henna band is consider important and master night of marriage.

Nikha:

          After singing groom with some of witnesses goes to bride’s house and call a Molvi, Who says the paryers of nikha or (wed lock). At the same time groom swears that he will protect the bride in any kind of difficulties. Similarly groom will be takes to bride’s room by his elders.

The night is known as “Nikha”.

Mubaraki:

                This is last day of marriage when members of groom’s family alone with drummers leave for the bride house and are welcomed by bride gamily. And after one, one groups of people, for groom side, came and see the wedding couple and say Mashah Allah with same money. And some others activities also performed. Such as they do Dochapi with tradition songs by Sarwap. So the last day is called Mubaraki.

                  Lastly, Balochi wedding is the name of various and enjoyable traditions. A culture always and enjoyable traditions, A culture always exist when it’s all kinds of part are performed in a culture way and in the same manner in our Baloch people performed the wedding accordance with their culture.
